The 10 Group is looking to hire a Junior Strategist and Insight Executive to play an important role in our fast-paced, highly creative integrated marcomms agency in Marylebone, London.
This role reports to the Head of Strategy and will support the agency as it develops its strategic and creative capability. The successful candidate will play a key role in working with the wider creative, accounts and management teams.

About the Role
If you are rigorous, analytical, and care about creative problem solving that delivers tangible results for clients, we’d love to talk. A big part of this role is using our platforms Brandwatch and Muckrack to seek out data driven insights and identify brand positioning and activation opportunities. You don’t need direct experience with these platforms but experience leveraging data to pull insights and reports is important.
We’re looking for someone who can:
Data and reporting – 40% of role
- Use our data platforms to conduct media monitoring, sentiment analysis and demographic analysis and present findings in a clear and actionable way
- Deliver reports for clients that have purchased our innovative new data platform 10ID, a way for brands to understand their impact on audiences at scale using social media listening
- Support on developing our approach to insight at 10 – finding new methods of using data and insight to support creative development
Brand research and analysis – 30% of role
- Conduct in-depth research of client sectors and operating environments to present an informed analysis of their brand positioning and opportunities
- Use research findings to create data-driven insights and narratives that transform clients’ brand and marketing effectiveness
- Run qualitative interviews with consumers and stakeholders and support on innovation & positioning workshops to test and shape insights
- Lead on more in-depth strategic and planning documents, such as competitor analyses, website audits and persona development
Creative and brand development – 30% of role
- Identify data-driven narratives to inform strategic approaches
- Help develop comms and campaign planning, messaging & narratives that provide the foundation for client content and campaigns
- Pull together basic brand narratives based on positioning recommendations and insights
- Manage client relations & present work to clients (including new business pitches, insights reports and strategy decks)
- Collaborate with different departments to create integrated campaigns & ideas – creative, new business, PR, social
The right candidate will be able to talk about how they have delivered these things across a range of sectors or will be able to articulate how they would apply strategic thinking in a variety of contexts.
Clients include: Hyperoptic, IWC Watches, World of Books, Polestar, Experian and more B2C and B2B clients
Skills and experience
- Experience using data platforms to generate insight
- Supporting on delivering strategic and analytical thinking
- Insight gathering for creative and strategy development
- Able to help shape key strategic deliverables, such as insight debriefs, creative briefs, workshops, stakeholder interviews and strategic presentations
- Passion for creative thinking and bringing new ideas to the table
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to offer a point of view that’s based on past experience
- Collaborative working style and an appreciation of the benefits of working within a multidisciplinary team
- Keen eye for detail and a thorough approach
- Proactive and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
