Our CEO, Elaine Stern appeared on Woman’s Hour on Friday, 28th October to discuss how employers can support working mothers.
In this fascinating and thought-provoking conversation, Elaine shared how employers can help mothers to return to the office by offering flexible working arrangements and encouraging them to commit time to the moments that matter in their children’s early lives. She also describes how employers can demonstrate their gratitude to mothers for returning to work.
“It’s a huge emotional wrench going back to work,” Elaine says. “Some returning mothers have told me that they are grateful to go back. And actually, it’s the employer who should be grateful.”
