Rowena Soons and Isobel Buckingham have joined The 10 Group, the London-based marketing and communications agency founded by Elaine Stern.
Hired into the role of Senior Strategist, Rowena (pictured, left) is a marketing leader with experience scaling B2B and B2C challenger brands in the property, FMCG and finance sectors. Rowena joins The 10 Group from capital market company Octopus Investments, where she oversaw strategy, product marketing, lead generation and retention for the two largest business lines. In her new role, she will provide strategic consultancy services to the agency and its clients.
Isobel (pictured, right), who has joined The 10 Group as Head of Editorial Content, previously worked at technology communications company Vodafone Group, where she produced editorial content for the organisation’s global digital channels. She is a trained journalist with experience producing compelling and strategic editorial content – from thought leadership whitepapers to blogs and ad copy – for a range of organisations. Before Vodafone, Isobel worked at professional services firm PwC, in both consulting and editorial roles.
Rowena and Isobel will be working in the 10 Studios team, which is led by Chief Commercial Officer James Myers. The appointments come as The 10 Group marks its twelfth anniversary and after several new account wins, including beauty buyers’ club Beauty Pie, engineering professional services firm WSP and electric vehicle charging points app Zapmap. Other clients include energy company Centrica and its subsidiary British Gas, insurance comparison site Confused.com and luxury Swiss watch firm IWC.
Rowena and Isobel are the latest in a series of new hires, as The 10 Group continues to expand its multi-disciplinary team. Other new additions include Junior Account Executive Ellie Stone (pictured, left), Junior Designer Chelsea Whittle and Team Assistant Tetiana Platonova (pictured, second left).
Elaine Stern, CEO of The 10 Group, said: “I am delighted to welcome Rowena and Isobel to our 10 Studios team. An important part of our growth strategy at The 10 Group is strengthening our strategic and editorial content capabilities. Their appointment, alongside our additional hires, marks an exciting new chapter at 10 as we enter into our twelfth year.”
